Hello, I'm Jade, the founder of Dainty London

My Story

Dainty London Jewellery was founded by me, Jade. My journey started as a Children’s Heart Transplant Nurse Specialist, but my passion for design and storytelling has led me to become a multi-award-winning jewellery designer.

My jewellery designs are inspired by my wonderful childhood in Cornwall. My father was a fisherman, and he would go out to sea for days at a time. When he returned with his lobster pots and fishing nets, I would imagine mermaid treasures tangled up among them. I still envision glistening gemstones and barnacle-encrusted treasures from the depths of the ocean. As an adult, I realised there was a significant gap in the market for this style of design, capturing the magic and wonder of our inner child.

My commitment to sustainability

My commitment to nature's beauty and sustainability is also a key influence and I use recycled silver and fair-trade gold whenever possible, demonstrating my dedication to eco-friendly practices. Every piece is carefully handcrafted in my London and Essex workshops, allowing me to showcase the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

With over 100 designs, Dainty London is stocked in independent stores across the UK and has been featured in British Vogue, Tatler, Stylist, and The Telegraph. Celebrities like Emeli Sande and Kylie Minogue have even worn our pieces on the Oscars red carpet! I was recently honoured to be featured in Forbes as a "Female Founder to Celebrate" for Women’s History Month.

Awards

I’m honored to have won "Online Retail Strategy of the Year" (UK Jewellery Awards 2024), "Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year" (2021), and "Creative Entrepreneur of the Year" (GBEA 2021). Dainty London was named "Best Jewellery Store in Essex" by Muddy Stilettos, and I was a finalist for "Commercial Jewellery Designer of the Year" and "Designer of the Year.
